| so yeah, a lot has happened since December 9th... well, i don't remember if anything special happened on the 10th, but oh the 11th!!! one of my really close friends, Logan, asked me out Monday, December 11th and i said yes! since then, i've met his mom, his mom's boyfriend, his aunt, his uncle Leon (who owns Leon's Fish camp) and his niece...they act exactly like my dad's side of the family and i love 'em all already!...the reason i got to meet 'em is because we stopped by his house before we went to the Christmas Dance...the theme was Christmas in New York...as soon as i get pictures back, i'll put some on here! i borrowed a dress from my cousin and it was so pretty!!! it was black with thin white ribbon around the edges....well, you'll see it eventually. after the dance, before he dropped me off back home, he kissed me and WOW! that boy is a really good kisser! since then, we've been pretty much trying to deal with everyone taking their own sweet time to realize that we ARE in fact dating and it's not a joke. lol... so yeah, he won't tell me what he got me for christmas and it's TORTURE! i think it's a necklace, but i could be wrong...he's making me wait til the day AFTER christmas...he didn't give it to me the last day of school before the break cause he wanted to give to me the day of christmas, but since i'm here in houston and i won't be back until the day after so he's gonna give it to me then...we may go hunting...not sure yet tho...we may just go visit his family. idk. i guess i'll find out! so yeah, now it's christmas eve and i'm stuck with nothing to do except myspace, this, and aim...even tho nobody else is on... oh well...we're going to the church's 11:00 pm Candle Light Service so that should be fun... and then TOMORROW'S CHRISTMAS DAY!!! so Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and whatever other holiday there is, have a good one of those too. lol ~*MeGaN*~ | | |
| so yeah, i didn't babysit today. there weren't gonna be as many kids and the original babysitter, alicia kuhn, just babysat by herself. well, that's kinda a good thing and a bad thing. good thing cause today my saturday was free. bad thing though was that i had to spend it shopping at walmart, putting up christmas lights out in the freezing cold weather, picking out, bringing home, and carrying the christmas tree into the living room, and did i mention that I FROZE MY ASS OFF?! yeah, but the worse part is that since i didn't babysit, i didn't get paid. since i didn't get paid, i don't have money to go christmas shopping with when we go to the mall....and i don't have time to get money between now and wednesday! so yeah, that sucks. i guess i'll just have to make do. well, ttyl! ~*MeGaN*~ | | |
| our christmas concert was fun and pretty good from what i hear everyone said my solo was awesome...cool! the next day, Trey asked me how my concert was and i said, "it was pretty good, i mean it was ok. everyone said i did good on my solo" and he goes, " i know i was there" so yeah, he saw me sing and i didn't even know it! we're going to the mall to sing next Wednesday, December 13....sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
then we get, not the normal 1 1/2 hours to shop, but 3 WHOLE HOURS!!! yay!!! i can't wait! so yeah, that'll be my christmas shopping day. but first i gotta get some money first. i'm gonna baby sit my preacher's son and another little kid with someone else this saturday from like, 8:00 in the morning til like, 5:30 or later. they're all going christmas shopping the entire day. but that's ok! i love noah and emma....i'm sure i probably like the other kid too, i just can't remember what his name is....it's Mrs. May's son...well, now her name's Mrs. Abshire but you remember Mrs. May from 6th grade don't you hannah? she was the Social Studies teacher.... so yeah,....that outta be fun until then! ~*MeGaN*~ | | |
| i didn't sing o little town of bethlehem and/or silent night. they were both already on the program and i didn't wanna be repetitive so instead, i sang "Oh Holy Night" accapello. everyone said i did really well and i must've hugged at least half the church at least once each. lol...i think some even conned me out of a second hug. those evil coniving bastards. lol. jk! so yeah, it's all good. my christmas concert is tomorrow night at 7. i have to hem and tailor my dress tonight. i gotta make it about 4 inches shorter cause the dress is super long, even when i wear heels. but what's weird is, i've gained weight, but i lost a dress size...i used to be a 6, but now i'm a 4. i was gonna trade my size 6 dress in for a 4, but they were out, so i'm just gonna have to tailor the one i have a bit more than normal. oh well...something to brag about i guess. jk. i hate bragging. it makes me feel like crap. lol... anywaaaaaaay... well, never mind the anyway cause that's about all i have to say. nothin' else new. when something does come up tho, i'll let cha know!!! ~*MeGaN*~ | | |
| tonight's the night of hanging of the green. i'd love to be able to sing the other song i was talking about in the previous entry, "What Songs Were Song" but i haven't practiced enough and i'm not as good as i need to be to sound good. instead i'm going to sing the first verse of "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" and then i'm going to transition to "Silent Night". hopefully it'll sound good and my granny will like it cause she's expecting me to sing the other song. oh well. i guess i'll see when that time comes. hopefully i won't be nervous and my voice won't crack. wish me luck! ~*MeGaN*~ | | |
